Product Description:

Deco Guard WB is a water-based, water-repellent mixture of silane and siloxane.

Deco Guard WB acts as a high quality general purpose water repellent for impregnating and priming metal surfaces

Deco Guard WB reduces pipe suction, but does not clog the pipe duct. Therefore there is little or no impairment in the ability of building materials to “breathe/ventilate”.

Uses :

Deco Guard WB is an excellent water repellent for many absorbent mineral substrates, such as:

• Natural and artificial stone
• Brick
• Fiber cement boards
• Plasters and makes them
• Fiber cement

Deco Guard WB is not suitable for dense and less absorbent natural stone, especially limestone, marble and reinforced concrete for bridges and roads.

Application:

Immersion, preferably not under pressure, is the best technique for applying Deco Guard WB. Apply several coats, wet on wet, until the bottom coat is saturated. In general, at least two coats are sufficient for all substrates.

Best results are obtained by applying Deco Guard WB to clean, dry substrates. As a standard procedure, fresh concrete should be allowed to dry for 28 days before application. All resets must be completed and allowed to cure for at least 3 days. Concrete repair and replacement must be completed prior to application.

Before applying Deco Guard WB be sure to cover windows and other non-absorbent surfaces properly as the product cures and dries quickly so it is very hard. If it becomes difficult to remove, wipe up any stains on window panes immediately, using a solvent if necessary.

Storage:

Deco Guard WB has a shelf life of at least 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored between 0°C and 35°C in the tightly closed original container. The container must be protected from sunlight.

The consumption and effectiveness of Deco Guard WB varies according to the type of substrate and should only be determined on site by testing a small area of ​​the material to be treated.
