Deco Plaster 105 - Colored coat

Product Description:

Deco Plaster 105 is a colored splice cement plaster that is a dry coat pre-mixed plaster formulated with Portland cement.

Colors :

Application:

Surface preparation:

Cure/dry new concrete 28 days. Cracks, voids and holes on old concrete must be repaired before applying Deco Plaster 101.

The surface must be free of dirt, paint, efflorescence and other contaminants.

For maximum bonding, apply Deco Bond 500 to smooth, dense or non-porous substrates before applying Deco Plaster 105.

Wet the substrate/primer not covered with Deco Bond 500 with drinking water before applying Deco Plaster 105.

Mixing instructions:

One 50kg bag of Deco Plaster 105 requires approximately 6 liters of drinking water to produce a suitable consistency.

Spray homogenization may require up to 8.0 liters of water.

In either mixture, the amount of water used must be uniform.

1. Mix Deco Plaster 105 at slow speed

Rotary blender with rubber blades. High-speed or prolonged mixing will trap excess air.

2. With the blender running, add 1/2 the required amount of water and slowly add the Deco Plaster 105 sachet.
3. Add more water for a smooth, workable consistency. Continue mixing for 3 to 5 minutes.
4. Stop the mixer and allow the material to thicken for further homogeneity for approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
5. Start the mixer and mix for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Add water as needed to achieve desired consistency.

Application method:

To produce uniform layers and color, Deco Plaster 105 should be applied by experienced workers using similar application techniques and tools.

Always spray at a 90 degree angle and maintain a uniform distance from the surface to achieve a uniform texture throughout the surface.

Spray on natural separation such as corners, control joints, expansion joints, roof lines, or wall and ceiling openings

Packaging:

Available in 30kg plastic bags

Plastic bags 50 kg.

Coverage:

Coverage rate per bag (50kg) will produce about 13-15 square metres.

Processing:

Deco Plaster 105 must be cured with water for at least 3 days to gain strength and hardness.

Field samples:

Before starting work, create a field sample or mockup using all materials and systems that will be used in the actual construction process. Deco Plaster 105 must be mixed in complete quantities, using all job site procedures. Do not mix by hand. Obtain the owner or architect's approval of color, texture and coverage rates before starting work. Keep the model or field sample until the project is complete.

Storage:

Six months if protected from the weather.

Deco plaster 105 should be stored in a dry area, preferably off the ground on a wooden pallet.

Rotate inventory to ensure the oldest materials are used first.

Health and safety:

Deco plaster 105 is an irritant, and dust masks must be worn while mixing it. Wet plaster/plaster is alkaline and prolonged contact with skin should be avoided
