How do I remove adhesives?
We usually use spray adhesives in industry and sewing, as they have become one of the easiest, quickest and indispensable ways to obtain a beautiful, high-quality final product. Despite its advantages, which include speed, ease, and longevity, sometimes it spreads beyond the outer surface and bothers us. But do not worry, fortunately there are many ways to get rid of its effects, and we have collected them for you in this article:
1- Nail polish remover (acetone)
We all have nail polish remover (acetone) in our house, so the easiest way to remove adhesives is to apply a little acetone to the stubborn glue stains and they will disappear!
But be careful, my friend. Do not use it on painted walls or cars, as it may damage them.
2- Alcohol
Isopropyl alcohol can be used to get rid of traces of adhesives if you are using sheets, plastic, or metals. As for how to use: Put a little of it on a clean cloth and rub the affected area gently. The adhesive will begin to peel off immediately.
But please be careful, using alcohol on wood or painted surfaces is not possible and will damage the product. To avoid this defect in the first place, you can buy wood glue and use it , as this will save you a lot of time.
3- Adhesive trace remover
Most adhesive manufacturers make counterproducts specifically formulated to neutralize the adhesive. To use sticker marks remover, you just have to put the remover on the sticker for five minutes, leave it on, then wipe it gently, and you will notice it disappearing immediately. Do not forget that you can purchase the adhesive and its remover directly through Jaafar Shop.
4- Scraping
If the surface spoiled with spray glue is strong enough not to scratch, use a blade to scrape off the adhesive and remove it. If you are worried about damaging it, you can use a piece of plastic to scrape it off.
