What does scraping paper mean?

- Emery cloth is particularly resistant to stress. It is ideal for working on curved surfaces and metal. You can also use this type of sandpaper for intensive sanding;
- Titanium is only used in disc sanders. It allows extensive sanding of wood, concrete, brick, etc.
Synthetic abrasives

Grain size
This is also a particularly important criterion. Grain size is classified into different categories. Each category has a number ranging from 10 to 7,000, from the coarse grain to the finest.
Coarse grit, from class 10 to 60, is ideal for rough sanding: stripping, etc. Those belonging to categories 80 to 180 are used for more precise operations. Grain grades 110 to 280 are used for finishing work. Finally, the 200 to 7000 grits are the ones that are super fine, even invisible. These are suitable for work on car bodywork, jewelry, etc.
