Deco Stone Grout - Cementous grouting for stone

Product Description:

Stone grout: Decorete ready-to-use colored cement mortar modified with polymer specially designed as a tile joint filler.

Uses :

Deco Stone Grout is used to fill stone joints whether natural or artificial as a colored tile grout.

Application:

Opening breaks:

After the stone is securely installed, the joints between the stone blocks must be opened with an electric hammer to a depth of about 1/2 inch and a width of not less than 1/2 inch, then the joint must be completely cleaned of any dust or damaged or loose materials.

Confusion:

Empty the bag of Deco Stone Grout into a suitable mixing container adding approximately 5 liters of potable water, using a working mixer or with a heavy duty drill for at least 2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Application :

Using a fine tip, lightly apply Deco Stone Grout into the cleaned joints until excess material comes out of the joints, making sure all gaps are completely filled, let the material cure for about 30 minutes.

Finishing:

Clean up any excess plaster with a dry broom after it has crumbled, sweeping lightly to get the desired grout shape. Use a soft brush to polish the gypsum surface and remove any existing roughness.

Storage:

Six months if well protected from weather changes

Deco Stone Grout Bags should be stored in a dry area, preferably off the ground.

Deco Stone Grout dust is an irritant, so paper dust masks should be worn while mixing. The wet mixture is alkaline and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided
